Meet the Artist
I choose to do portraits to capture the essence within the person I’m working with. An essence that’s beyond just their physical image.
I have chosen primarily to work with people of color, and am particularly inspired by the ones I meet, who are of African descent; because of their humanity, grace, and beauty.
Aside from the sheer pleasure of the craft itself what always excites me is when I see my subjects finally come to life in a drawing or painting.
